Dementia Peer Support Group
- For carers who look after someone diagnosed with dementia
- Advice and tips on how to look after someone with dementia as well as your own mental health and wellbeing
- Guest speakers

Concerned about someone’s Drug or Alcohol use?
- A support group for the loved ones of people who use drugs or alcohol
- Information on drugs and their effects, recovery support options, how to support your loved one without enabling their use
- Confidential and non-judgemental
- No need to book – just turn up

- Support for carers aged 16 – 25

Digital Support at Kingsway
Do you need internet access or help using a computer?
Use our computers for free. Support is on hand for:
- Applying for jobs
- Filling in forms
- Setting up email
Booking is essential – 30 minute appointments will be allocated between 10am – 12 noon
Sewing Group
- Come along and have fun if you are interested in making your own garments
- Learn how to set up a sewing machine and how to take measurements
- Learn about different seams and stitches
- Pattern cutting, pinning, buttonholes, zips, hemming and using interfacing
Every Wednesday at Kingsway 10:30am – 12:30pm
Respite Service
For carers to get a couple hours of respite, you can leave the person you care for at our respite service for stimulating activities and some social interaction, your loved one will be entertained for a couple of hours while you get a break

For carers who would like to get out and about and enjoy some exercise.
Walking is ideal for improving all aspects of physical and mental health.
