5 Ways to Wellbeing Be Active: Nature Walk and Photo Safari

Meet at the Pavilion in Witton Park, a 40-minute walk looking out for different trees, birds and natural habitats.  You will be given a list of items to take photos of, the best photo will win a £10 voucher followed by runner up of £5, everyone who takes part will get a lucky dip prize.

Holistic Therapies at Kingsway

A workshop and a demonstration on self-therapy, Roxanne will show you where stress builds up and how you can massage the areas to relieve stress.  A small massage for the attendees.   Limited places. Book @ office.bwdcarers.org.uk

Finish the day with Karen Haworth who will take you through the benefits of meditation and take you through a sleep meditation.

Walk a Mile in a Carers shoes

Come and join us at Witton Park Pavilion for our traditional yearly walk a mile in a carer’s shoes, there will be a walk for all abilities, some games and a raffle.  Join in to support the loved one’s you care for. Register at Ofice@bwdcarers.org.uk

Afternoon Tea at Dolly’s Tea Rooms

A treat for our carers limited numbers, meet at Dolly’s for 12.45pm for an afternoon tea and chatter.  There is a charge of £5 for this activity.

5 Ways to Wellbeing: Connecting: Draw your Covid Story

Learn how to do Line Drawing, this is a very simple technique and can be used to help reduce anxiety.  During the session you will be able to discuss your journey through Covid 19 and express this in an art form with the help of the tutor. On Zoom email Office@bwdcarers.org.uk  for the link.
